Noriani Yati Mohamad is currently Project Director for BIGST, an upcoming cluster development of high CO2 gas fields with Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) in Malaysia. She has 29 years of working experience with PETRONAS in diverse roles ranging from Technical, Operations, Asset Management, Planning and Strategy.
A strong believer in Diversity & Inclusion, Yati is Secretariat to PETRONAS Leading Women Network (PLWN) and frequently speaks at forums advocating for gender diversity and women empowerment.
Yati actively contributes to professional societies by chairing technical symposiums, moderating sessions and presenting at Society of Petroleum Engineers(SPE), Society of Exploration Geologists(SEG) and European Engineers and Geoscientists Association(EAGE).
A wife and mother to six children, Yati is often regarded as a role model in PETRONAS for being the minority group of women in technical leadership roles.
Yati is a graduate of Colorado School of Mines, USA in BSc Petroleum Engineering.
