Abeer Elsherbiny has more than 14 years’ experience in the Marketing & Business Development of Fertilizers and petrochemical industry in Egypt.

Following a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with an extinction grade of honor, she joined the Egyptian Petrochemical Holding Company (Echem) in 2009 and joined the Arab Fertilizers Association “AFA” as the Technical director.

She has finished her MBA degree -Strategic Management major with GPA: 3.8 (Ranked first) from “Ain Shams University” one of the top governmental universities in Egypt.

With job responsibilities centralized on Marketing & business development aspects including analysis in the form of Marketing, Scope Definition, Detailed studies for petrochemicals and sector global & local trends, she is quite well experienced in performing Analysis studies, defining Macro data, utilizing econometric modeling techniques, feasibility studies aspects, contracts negotiation, foreign investors communication.

She has been a technical Speaker at multiple conferences (EGYPS 2017, EGYPS 2018, and ERTC 2017 in Athens, Greece, ADIPEC 2021, Abu Dhabi, World Hydrogen MENA (Online Conference) 2022, …etc) discussing diverse topics including Integration of Green Hydrogen and Downstream petrochemicals Industry, petrochemicals diversifications from commodity to specialty and Feedstocks availability for chemical value chain with the booming of the shale gas and Iranian Sanctions.
