Amber is currently the Senior Vice President of bp Refining, Terminals & Pipelines. She began her career as a Process Engineer in 1996 and has held roles within the refining and energy industry across North and South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Her assignments include positions within operations, engineering, economics and strategy, finance, supply, terminal and pipelines and multiple refining leadership roles. 

Prior to joining bp, Amber held several operational and technical executive roles within ExxonMobil including Refinery Manager at ExxonMobil’s Joliet Refinery. After joining bp, she served as the Whiting Refinery Operations Manager followed by the Whiting Refining Vice President. She values having a balance of unrelenting focus on safety and operational excellence coupled with emotionally connected leadership. 

Amber is passionate about developing people, and leans into building brilliant, diverse teams around a unified vision. She has been actively involved in diversity campaigns across her career and engaging with the local community, manufacturing associations, non-profit boards and STEM advancement in area schools.
