Dr. Rania Eldam Pommer is a Senior Investigator at bpx energy, located in Denver, Colorado. She was a National Science Foundation Research Fellow and earned her MS and PhD in Geology & Geochemistry from Colorado School of Mines in 2016 and 2020, respectively, and her BS in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas in 2013. Integrating her scientific credentials with her background in writing and visual arts, Rania has published multiple children’s books in support of diversity in STEM education, and she is a vocal advocate and ally for DE&I initiatives within bpx energy and across her community. She recently served as an Advisor to the Women’s International Network business resource group at bpx energy in their Denver office. Currently, Rania lives with her partner and their two-year-old daughter in Golden, Colorado, where they cultivate a chaotic little home with their dogs, cat, chickens, bees, and bonsai garden.
