Ioanna Exarchou has worked for bp since 2013, and has held roles across M&A, downstream business development and renewables business development. Since 2019, Ioanna has been working as part of bp’s renewables team, leading select renewables business development projects including bp’s offshore wind market entry in Japan. In November 2022 Ioanna joined the bp Offshore Wind leadership team as Vice President Business Excellence, responsible for market intelligence and bid solutions, partnerships and deal structuring and offshore wind portfolio development.  Prior to joining bp Ioanna worked at Citigroup, Wood Mackenzie and ExxonMobil gaining a breadth of experience in the energy industry. Ioanna holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and an MSc and BEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College and the University of Surrey respectively.
