Jess joined Wood in April 2024 to lead the Operations business for the Americas. Jess brings over 17 years of oil and gas experience with extensive operational and commercial expertise, complemented by digital and decarbonization-conscious strategy development. 

Previously in commercial and operational executive roles for Shell Americas, Stanley brings 17 years energy experience and is based in Houston, Texas. She began her career with Shell in 2007 and worked across Asia, Europe and the United States in a range of operational and commercial leadership roles including Vice President of Shell’s Pipeline Operations where she managed an operations and maintenance program for US midstream spanning 3,000 miles of on and offshore crude oil, chemical, natural gas and refined products pipelines. 

Since 2023, she has also held a Non-Executive Board position for Nanoxplore, a graphene manufacturing company based in Montreal, Canada.  This position represents her passion for how society can thrive through the energy transition with new and innovative technologies applied to hard-to-abate sectors. She is business fluent in French and German. Her passions include running and hiking as well as travel to far-flung destinations.
