Ruzila Idin is currently leading the Global Human Resources Partners for the Downstream Business, where she is responsible for aligning the overall Human Resource Management (“HRM”) strategy and operations. With over 28 years of experience in HRM, she brings a wealth of expertise gained from various roles across PETRONAS, including Corporate, Gas, Upstream, Downstream, and Digital. Her international exposure in Australia, enhancing her understanding of global HR dynamics.
Ruzila holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Certificate in International Management. She recently completed the Newfield Coach Certification Program for Ontology Coaching, earning the title of Certified Solution Focused Coach (“CSFC”) by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification. An inspirational leader, she is dedicated to coaching and providing candid feedback to nurture the development of future leaders.
With her high commitment to advocacy, Ruzila is a driving force behind the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda within the organization. Her passion has led her to speak at various internal and external forums and platforms, including her recent participation as a speaker and panelist at Energy Asia 2023.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ruzila cherishes her role as a mother to 3 children. During her leisure time, she indulges in diverse interests, including diving, painting, photography, crafting, and traveling. Her commitment to coaching also extends into her personal life.
