Samantha Martinez Castillo has 18 years of experience in operations and different functional roles in the oil and gas industry. She is currently the Vice President of Reservoir Performance in Americas Land, in charge of product and service delivery of all wireline evaluation and production, surface and downhole testing, coiled tubing intervention and stimulation operations in the land businesses in Canada, USA, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile.
She started her career as a wireline field engineer and then she took on several different assignments in operations in land and offshore regions such as Mexico, Brazil and UK, line management in Latin America, Human Resources in Asia, Communications management for Schlumberger Limited and global roles in operational planning, resource management and most recently as Director of Human resources worldwide for Reservoir Performance.
Samantha is originally from Nayarit, Mexico and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications from Monterrey Tech in Mexico and a MsC in Oil and Gas Business from Heriot Watt University in UK.
