| Kassy is the Energy Transition Technology Director at GE Vernova, with a focus on hydrogen value chain strategy, developing proprietary new solutions for hydrogen in the power generation sector. She leverages her engineering experience designing heavy-duty gas turbine hydrogen gas fuel systems, as well as her background in additive manufacturing, to analyze emergent technology and advance industrialization. She supported business responses to the 45V tax credit and launched an internal library hub giving updates on hydrogen global policy, regulations, and deep dives in key regions. She volunteers regularly with local schools, including lecturing on the hydrogen economy and clean energy technologies. Her community roles have included Alumni Board for University of Kentucky College of Engineering, Industry Advisor for CTE Innovation Center, and Hub Leader for GE Vernova Women’s Network, where she led facility renovations for mothers rooms to support women returning to work. |
