Sabina has been a driving force in North America’s hydrogen sector for over 25 years. A trusted leader and strategist, she excels at delivering complex projects through impactful partnerships with government, industry, and academia. At HTEC, she is leading the development of BC’s largest hydrogen production facility—a 15-tonne-per-day liquefier—and played a key role in securing $337m from the Canada Infrastructure Bank and $49m from the Strategic Innovation Fund to support H2 Gateway, a province-wide hydrogen initiative. Sabina also co-founded Zen Clean Energy, delivering the US’s largest on-site renewable hydrogen station for transit. Her earlier work helped shape Canada’s Hydrogen Strategy. She has enabled over $500m in hydrogen project funding and was named a 2023 BC Business Innovator, a 2022 Women Leading Cleantech honouree, and a 2021 Clean50 recipient. She chaired the Canadian Hydrogen Association Board in 2023.
