Riddhi is a Process & Technology engineer in Air products and chemicals working the global technology team specializing in hydrogen and syngas. Over the last 3 years, she has been focusing on advancing carbon capture solutions for hydrogen production, bridging the gap between grey and low-carbon hydrogen technologies. One of her key contributions is to evaluate different CO2 capture technology implementation on existing SMR based hydrogen plant and provide suitable early-stage designs of pre- and post-combustion capture units, focusing on optimizing recovery, energy consumption, and cost. These evaluations have directly influenced investment decisions and technology roadmaps. She has also contributed to capture CO2 from Europe’s largest blue hydrogen plant which will be on stream in 2026. This is CO2 capture from an existing hydrogen plant in the Netherlands changing it to a blue hydrogen plant from grey hydrogen.
