Kholoud has become one of the most visible young professionals advancing Saudi Arabia’s hydrogen economy. She played a central role in the Ministry–NEOM taskforce, working to align priorities between government stakeholders and NGHC to support unified direction and maximize national impact. She contributed to over 10 bilateral initiatives, including with Germany, the UK, and Norway, and played a lead role in preparing the roadmap that led to the MoU with the Netherlands and shaping the Hydrogen Oasis MoU with South Korea. She represented the Ministry’s hydrogen department as a panelist at SGI 2024, joining CEOs of major global energy companies in a public session. She contributed significantly to the Kingdom joining IPHE. Her work earned admiration at the highest levels, with HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman referring to her publicly as “the Hydrogen Lady”, a reflection of the promise she represents as one of the Kingdom’s most promising rising stars in building the hydrogen economy.
