Jane is co-founder and COO of OXCCU, an Oxford University spinout converting CO2 and H2 into sustainable fuels and materials. With 10+ years’ experience in climate tech and IP commercialisation, Jane bridges academia and industry to deliver real-world impact. As former ClimateTech Lead at Oxford University Innovation, she supported early-stage spinouts before co-founding OXCCU in 2021. Backed by £18m Series A and a £2.8m government grant, OXCCU launched its first e-SAF demo plant at Oxford Airport in 2024, delivering fuel at 40% higher conversion. Jane doubled the team in a year and is driving efforts to scale the lowest-cost Power-to-Liquids pathway. A passionate mentor, she champions underrepresented voices in science and sees OXCCU as a platform for meaningful climate impact. Her leadership is central to OXCCU’s rapid growth and long-term vision to decarbonise global aviation.
