An expert with c. 20 years in steel materials and tubular products, Justine joined the hydrogen world in 2023, when she started to lead the technical development of Delphy, Vallourec’s innovative hydrogen storage solution. In this role, she oversaw the R&D activities, which led to the filing of 5+ patent applications, and has been leading the design, construction and operation of the Delphy demonstration site, as well as all regulatory steps and technology qualification process, reaching, in 2025, technology qualification according to DNV RP A203. She has been instrumental to turn a powerpoint idea from concept to a proven solution, readu for commercialization, in just 2 years.
Hydrogen storage is a critical brick in green hydrogen projects, as it allows to bridge intermittent production with steady offtake. Delphy solution comes with high safety, compact footprint and modular design, and will be a key enabler and an added value to the projects.
