Bio

Kristina Absher has two decades of experience with ExxonMobil spanning upstream, downstream, and midstream roles and ranging from operations to projects to corporate strategy. Beginning her career in 2007 in project management, she started in cost and controls engineering roles and advanced to leadership roles supporting major Upstream developments, including an international assignment in South Korea.

She later held supervisory and managerial positions in project management, engineering, refinery maintenance and turnarounds, and Staffing & Development before transitioning and moving the family to the Permian Basin. As Permian Projects Manager, Production Superintendent, and Central Area Operations Superintendent, she led major capital projects and large-scale field operations.

Since 2025, Kristina has served as Senior Advisor in Corporate Strategy, helping steward ExxonMobil’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and guiding the corporate risk identification and management process. Kristina and her husband Drew, also an engineer at ExxonMobil, manage a dual-career household with two young boys.
