Chantal is renowned for her expertise in energy project development, particularly in the hydrogen and wider low-carbon energy sector. She plays a pivotal role in groundbreaking projects, including several US and Canadian hydrogen and ammonia production projects, and large-scale green hydrogen facilities in Latin America in hard-to-abate sectors. Her work covers the full hydrogen lifecycle, from construction matters through to critical hydrogen offtake agreements, PPA arrangements, and Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) hydrocarbons. Chantal serves on the United States Regional Committee and Board of Directors of AIEN and is part of the 2024-2025 IEL Leadership class. She spoke at the 2024 Model Contracts Workshop, discussing Hydrogen SPAs and JDOAs, and featured on high-profile panels at the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal Symposium, where she focused on the future of international energy negotiations and the transition to cleaner energy.
