Maria has shown great interest in the hydrogen economy since day one of joining the industry. She has played a pivotal role in setting up a standardized Balance of Plant design concept by optimizing process simulations and sizing calculations. Maria has transformed the project cost estimation process (class 5/4/3), reducing the timeline from months to weeks. After conducting several estimating and sizing studies, Maria initiated a graduate exchange program within the company and embarked on a six-month assignment abroad. In Worley’s Madrid office, she transitioned from engineering to a consultancy role, supporting clients in electrolysis OEM selection.

With her insights into both engineering and consultancy for green hydrogen projects, Maria is uniquely bridging the gap between these two disciplines, a remarkable achievement given her years of experience.
