Carol is the founder of Horizon Consulting, where she advises companies on growth strategy, operational excellence, and sustainability solutions. Her recent work includes market development for a novel clean power generation technology, M&A growth strategy for mid-market companies, and other project-based consulting across the energy sector. Carol brings more than two decades of experience spanning engineering, business development, and P&L leadership, with senior roles at Energy Transfer, Dresser-Rand, Siemens, and INNIO. She finds it especially rewarding to develop strategic business relationships that create long-term value, particularly through innovation and technology.
Carol serves on the Houston-area board of Filling the Void, a national nonprofit, and recently completed her board term with the Gas Machinery Research Council. She is also a long-time member of the University of Tulsa Mechanical Engineering Industrial Advisory Board and a recurring speaker on diversity topics in a Rice University Center for Engineering Leadership course. She is a licensed Professional Engineer with engineering and management degrees from the University of Tulsa, and has completed executive development programs in leadership, ESG, and customer experience.
