Chen is a Project Manager for the Mooring Solutions Business Unit at MODEC. In this role, she manages Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) for the mooring systems used for floating production and storage offloading projects.
Chen has nearly two decades of experience in deep water floating system hydrodynamics analysis, mooring design, and project management. She has progressed through various technical and leadership roles within MODEC, including mooring engineer, interface manager, engineering manager, and project manager.
Chen holds an Engineering Degree from Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics in France and a Master of Science and doctorate in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University. She is also a member of the Project Management Institute.
