Peter is currently a Senior Vice President with ExxonMobil Corporation. Peter earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Bachelor of Finance from Adelaide University in 2003.
Peter began his career with Santos Ltd. in 2004 as a reservoir engineer. He joined ExxonMobil in Melbourne, Australia in 2005 and held roles in reservoir engineering, joint interest and planning, supporting Australia, Papua New Guinea and Iraq. Peter has held a variety of roles across ExxonMobil including US Production in Houston, Texas; a secondee into the Shell UK joint venture on behalf of ExxonMobil’s interests in the North Sea; a return to Houston to join the Planning & Business Analysis organization; a role as Operations Superintendent and Asset Manager in Chad, Africa; two years in St John’s as President and General Manager of ExxonMobil Canada; two years as Chairman and Managing Director of ExxonMobil PNG in Port Moresby, before returning to Houston as Senior Advisor to the Executive Committee immediately prior to his current role.
