Sylvia is Head of Analysis – US at Pexapark, where she spearheads insights into the wholesale solar, wind, and BESS markets across the US. She brings over a decade of experience in renewable energy strategy, market analytics, and industry thought leadership.
Before Pexapark, she was part of Wood Mackenzie, where she served most recently as Global Head of Solar Research. Earlier in her career, she advised national oil companies and energy majors as a Strategy Consultant with Accenture Strategy Energy across Mexico, Colombia, the US and the Middle East.

A recognized voice in power markets, Sylvia hosted an energy podcast with more than 27,000 monthly listeners, has spoken at national and international conferences like RE+ and Intersolar, and has been quoted by top publications like Bloomberg, CNBC, the Financial Times, Reuters, and Politico. She currently serves as President of the Houston chapter of Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energies and is an ambassador for the Let’s Share the Sun Foundation.

Sylvia holds an MSc in Conventional and Renewable Energies from EPF École d’Ingénieur-e-s in France and a BSc in Engineering Physics from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Based in Houston, TX, she is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
