Jo has 20 years of experience in energy project design, process optimization, and project delivery, and since joining Bechtel in 2007, she has held senior technical and functional leadership roles. This includes Global Chief of project, process, environmental, process safety, and metallurgical engineering, and Chief Project Engineer in London.
At Bechtel, Jo has worked on several major energy projects in a variety of stages ranging from front end engineering and design (FEED) to EPC and start-up audits. Prior to her current role, Jo was the Project Manager/Project Engineering Manager for the Sabine Pass Stage 5 Expansion Project, where she led engineering efforts through the concept select and FEED phases.
Jo holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technology from UMIST, a Master of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester, and a Master of Laws in Law from the University of London. Jo is a chartered engineer with the Institute of Chemical Engineers
