Maylu is a Petroleum Engineer and an Industrial Engineer holding a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, with over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, holding several positions such as Field Engineer, Technical and Sales Engineer, Project Manager, Development Manager, Instructor, Regional Stimulation Technical Expert, and Regional Stimulation Domain Associate in SLB. She has worked in multiple countries, including Venezuela, Indonesia, Ecuador, Mexico, Trinidad, Guyana, and currently in USA, and contributed extensively to stimulation and sand control operations across land, offshore, artic, and deepwater environments. Maylu has played a key role in launching major initiatives, such as the first SLB pumping vessel in the Caribbean region. In addition to her technical leadership, she has served as a mentor to junior and senior engineers, has guided regional technical strategies, and is recognized with multiple SLB awards.
